Leyla Akcan joined Aegis Dentsu in 2011 as Digital Integration Director at Resolutions R&D Business Unit handling coodrinaditon between digital and offline teams, new business pitches and all digital systems needs. Having a pivotal role during the Coca-Cola pitch in 2012, she moved on to lead all the digital services for the team. Post her role with Coca-Cola, she also managed one of the biggest accounts within Dentsu Aegis, BDF & Eczacıbası along with some other global clients. Currently, she serves as the Head of Digital overseeing all the digital services within Carat and Vizeum.
Leyla started her career at OMD in 2002 at Research, TV planning, and Client Services teams respectively. In 2005 she moved on to a Client Services Manager role in TV Planning and Buying at Mediacom. She started her digital career at one of the first digital outsourcing agencies in the market that serviced many global agencies, Zap Medya as Digital Media Director in 2007. She continued her career at Mediacom overseeing some of the biggest accounts in the agency.
She holds an MBA from Istanbul Bilgi University. She is experienced in finance, FMCG, telco, auto, travel, retail, internet services, media, and technology.

The role is to work with all account teams horizantally and act as a central contact for media networks and publishers regarding the following responsibilities. As well as at Coca-Cola, Beiersdorf, Eczacıbaşı, Disney Channel, UIP, Indesit, M&S & GAP is leading the digital group.

- Innovation and overview of usage of central digital tools
- Providing digital trainings in several areas for new comers and junior planners.
- Obtaining central insights, case studies, structuring new approaches, studies and providing learnings both to internal temas and clients.
- Developing PR & Marketing studies.
- Helping with recruitments and finding the right people.
- When needed, act as a liason between digital teams, internal brands/teams and 3rd party providers.
- Digital Comms Planning studies and duties as needed.
